At Stafford Heights State School we welcome new families living in our catchment area to join our school community. Families relocating to our catchment area are encouraged to contact us in advance so we may anticipate their student's enrolment application.
Please refer to our Enrolment Management Plan and catchment area map to confirm enrolment eligibility.
Families are welcome to download our Enrolment Pack if their students are eligible to enrol. The Enrolment Pack contains the necessary forms to be completed and a checklist of required documents.
Applications should be emailed to
admin@staffordheightsss.eq.edu.au. Administration staff will process the application and contact families to discuss their application.
We conduct enrolment interviews for every eligible student that applies to enrol at our school. An appointment is arranged with one of the Leadership Team after complete applications are processed. The enrolment interview is an opportunity to share information about how our school operates, establish a relationship with new students and their family, and answer questions.
Families requiring assistance with supervision of their students before or after school should contact the onsite service provider, Stafford Heights OSHC
staffordheightsoshc@gmail.com We look forward to welcoming new students and their families into our dynamic, vibrant, caring school community.
Enrolment Management Plan
Families residing outside the catchment area are welcome to email
admin@staffordheightsss.eq.edu.au to learn about our waiting list. Offers of enrolment can only be made to students on the waiting list if the school has spare enrolment capacity and there is a vacancy in the year level requested. Out of catchment families should also proceed with enrolment at their allocated catchment school.
Students with International Passports
For students with an international passport and an Australian residency visa, please contact Education Queensland International External link to check if your student's visa type requires an EQI Authority to Enrol in a Queensland State School.
Please refer to our Enrolment Management Plan to determine if your student will be eligible for enrolment. The requirement to demonstrate residency within our catchment area applies to all enrolment applications.
Please note our school does not have a program offering short term enrolment to students with visitor visas.
