Stafford Heights State School community ensure that the students are in a safe environment. A unique attribute to our suburb are the famous Bollard safety poles. They are brightly painted poles that were designed and painted by the students at Stafford Heights Primary School in the 1990’sl. The poles are to create awareness to drivers that they are near a school and to watch for children on the roads and to create a recognisable landmark to let children know they were close to or in the right direction to school or home.
